Wattle Hill is a simulated venue. So is every venue in virtual racing. What is published here is the geometry, which is the part the industry keeps to itself.

The rail: True, fixed. Nothing on this circuit is watered, rolled or rained on, so there is no track rating and a form line from here carries none. The geometry changes what the screen shows, not what the draw does: a barrier holds no numbers in the weighting table.
The cadence
what the venue runs, and when it goes dark
- Day window
- every 4 min, 13:00–18:00 — 75 races
- Overnight window
- every 6 min, 18:00–23:00 — 50 races
Both windows are printed whether or not the venue races in them: a track that runs one window says the other is dark, because a reader is entitled to know when nothing is on rather than to guess. A card every few minutes is what the real product does too — the same cadence for 49's Portman Park has been reported as three minutes, as three to five minutes and as nine minutes (archived horseracingbuzz.net results index and portmanparkresults.com, read 18 October 2026), and where the sources disagree the disagreement is recorded rather than resolved.
About the track
Wattle Hill is 1600 m around, right-handed, with a 300 m home straight — the shortest run to the post of the six gallops venues. The course rises through the back straight and falls into the home turn, and that rise is the one piece of real terrain on the circuit: it sits in the venue's geometry file and is drawn on the venue map. Four distances are programmed: 1400, 1600, 1800 and 2000 m. The 1400 m starts 200 m past the post inside the home straight, so no chute is needed. The feature is the Wattle Hill Cup over 1800 m.
The cycle is twilight and the cadence changes inside it: every four minutes from 13:00 to 18:00, which is 75 races, then every six minutes from 18:00 to 23:00, which is 50 more. A cadence that shifts mid-session is normal in the commercial product — observed card times on one aggregator run many races nine minutes apart with gaps of 20 to 40 minutes between them (betvirtual.co card listings, read 18 October 2026). Here it is published at the top of the card instead of being left to be noticed.
Fields run 8 to 10. Undulation carries no weight in the draw. A runner is given no extra numbers for staying a hill, and the form lines on a Wattle Hill card are a record of what the engine printed, not evidence of aptitude. The runner profiles state the same thing in the same words.
What the proportions were modelled on
as far as the resemblance goes
The dimensions — 1600 m around, 300 m straight, a rise in the back — resemble a small Australian country turf course rather than a metropolitan one, and the rise is a terrain mesh rather than a hill.
The undulation is in the terrain, not in the weighting table. A twilight card here runs 125 races across two different cadences.

Group status is conferred by a principal racing authority and this circuit has none, so the top grade here is Feature and the page says so rather than borrowing a grade it cannot award. How a virtual race is decided.
